Names. The names of all the people I went to school with. The names of the streets I lived on in most cases (I remember Ridge Avenue in Spring City), the teachers I had, lots of things like that. I have an excellent forgettery.

I have also forgotten almost every Latin and French word I ever learned, the theories of all those philosophers I studied, the chemical formulas and virtually all other characteristics of the gem stones I studied, and basically all but fragments of the four years I spent in college, let alone the time in public school before that.

I have an excellent forgettery. Lousy memory, though.

I generally forget the places I put my things. I always look around for my belongings. Several times I lost my car keys and couldn't find where I have put them. The same thing happened to my office and house keys and once found them in my drawer. Never would I have thought to putting them in my drawer!

The second thing is that I forget names (except very close friends of course!) I forget my old student's names a lot (even after only 1 month!)

Now if I could remember what I have forgotten I could have found my way home that time years ago....and I would be rich, successful, beautiful and smart! Instead I am just some silly old Granny with cats and flowers (who is deliriously happy since she is unable to remember anything to be sad about!) Good luck ;-)

I have forgotten some basics of life. I think I need to figure out why I forgot them.

I forgot to put a pinch of salt in the cake I baked tonight. I hope it doesn't make any difference to the taste.
