That would be absolutely wonderful! Even more wonderful if I'm not suffering from the guilt of knowing I have a million things I should be doing.

I tried that last week - first day in daycare for my toddler. Never had any of my kids in daycare before so I felt horrible doing it, anyhow just needed 3-4 hours by myself. my 21 month old has never been away from me before. He lasted an hour before daycare rang me to get him as he was too upset.
So much for a morning to myself, let alone a day.

I sort of have that today. My Husband has had to go into work, won't be home until 7pm, so I have the whole day to do what ever I want. SO I am going to have a spoiling me day!

I try to have a day or two like this every so often. It helps me to de-stress and gives me energy to tackle the next challenges. I like to curl up and read or watch DVDs. The biggest decisions to make are what time to get up and what to eat.

My thoughts exactly! Seems like my husband's days off are not nearly as busy as mine. Maybe we ladies need to start giving ourselves a true day off once in a while
