Can you run or walk across a hot parking lot barefoot?

I can walk on the parking lot or sidewalks as hot as they ever get here. The warmest was last July when we hit 100+ temperatures for the first time ever, I could handle that just fine.

This year there are no hot sidewalks, last week we had several days we didn't even hit 60F. It's been cold, rainy and windy for weeks on end. I wish I had a hot parking lot to walk on!

Not really; however, just the other day, I had to use the ATM at my bank; therefore, I was driving barefoot (took off my sandals while I was driving) and stopped at my bank, which was closed at the time, but I used the ATM, which was located outside of the bank. I got out of my minivan, and walked to the ATM barefoot, and had to walk on the sidewalk, and the blacktop lot barefoot. It didn't feel to bad on my feet. I thought I was going to get some strange looks from these people who were fixing the sidewalk on the west side of the bank, but I didn't

I did ran a cross a hot parking lot about 8 years ago, next time I'll wear something on my feet.

it feels good on the tootsies! I prefer barefoot hot to barefoot cold. Walking in the snow SUCKS!!

havent tried a parking lot yet, but i did try the beach, and it was nasty! my feet felt like they`re being fried
