"Fresh trade in, excellent mechanics and running condition, E-tested, solid body, local car, automatic, A/C blows cold, keyless entry, power mirrors, door locks, cruise, tilt, sold as traded/as is!"

Its from a local used car dealership. I'm trying to buy my first car. To travel North America in. Please tell me if it would be good for the time being or would break down like a week after I buy it. And tell me how more kilometers it should have left on it. Thank you very much.

Defineatly NOT. I'm a firm believer in "Consumer Reports" & they rank this car in the worst catagory and as one to AVOID. Not only that, they have a HISTORY of blown head gaskets & cracked heads, very exopensive to fix. DON't BUY IT!

Whoa buddy... i would think long and hard about this.. I have a 98 Cavalier but i had so much problems when i bought the car for 700. I thought it was ok at first. Transmission as well as engine problems started happening, at 155,000 miles. The fact is at 191,000 miles from a local dealership, thats not a good deal. Actually once u buy it its your problem (thats if your willing to fix any problems that come up). Thats a risk i would not want to take.

on the surface a 800 dollar car to travel cross country in sounds like somthing that you will be abandoning in "rusume speed" on a rainy night. get it checked out before you buy, by someone you trust.
i have a customer with a 91 model used in his florist business that is well over 350k miles it has seen 2 headgasket jobs a radiator 2 cooling fan motors a heater core a wiper motor and a a/c overhaul.plus oilchanges every 3k and tune ups every 15k sience new. and is still in good shape
get service records if you can and pay attention to the cooling system
these wern't horrible cars but they arn't great ones either. look around you may find better certinly nothing cheaper. good luck
