i have an excellent memory i can remember dreams from when i was a toddler and details from all through my life. i also have a photographic memory. it serves me well but it's also annoying because i get frustrated when others don't remember things that i do and i get impatient. i also get offended if a partner or friend doesnt remember every word of a conversation we had ten years or go and find the fact htat people repeat themselves a lot, very trying. I have to work very hard not to become impatient so it's a bit of a mixed blessing and to be honest I wish I could forget things a lot more.

My memory has become very selective. I can clearly remember things that happened 40 odd years ago, but damned if I can remember what I went upstairs for.

It has a habit of reminding me of all the mistakes i've made in life. I wish it would stop doing that.

Yes, it does.
If I read something I can recall it later. I'm going to be doing that real soon because I'm going back to school.
