Now that you asked this, I thought about that stupid horror movie called FOG. I have never seen it but FOG is one of the worst things to come up with for a horror movie.

After I visit my parents and drive home I go through a lot of areas of low lieing farmland, which gets very dark and very foggy, near the end of the drive I go past the Koo wee rup swamps and sometimes stop off to go up the swamp look out tower. Its so quiet, deserted, cold and foggy that its really atmospheric. I think of witches, werewolves, apparitions, ghosts, and places beyond time.

Dracula, England, a peaceful place, and home, but not all at the same time. Dracula because the first time I saw the movie Dracula (and Frankenstein too!) the drive home was VERY foggy... really creepy after seeing "Dracula".

(*laughter*) It depends on my mood. Some times it's like a blanket enveloping me. Other times, I think of some movie like "The Fog" or "Storm of the Century"...and I go inside and bolt the doors.
