HIV/AIDS knows no boundaries, it discriminates against no ethnicity, no gender, no age, no religion.

When the AIDS epidemic began officially in the early 1980s, it was widely considered exclusively a 'gay disease.' -- Now everyone should know that AIDS is a worldwide epidemic; and most AIDS cases are actually heterosexual, not homosexual.

NO - HIV causes AIDS.

Unprotected gay sex can spread HIV. But so can unprotected heterosex. So can sharing needles. So can going to a bogus tattoo or piercing parlor.

What spreads HIV which causes AIDS is not being careful when performing certain acts.

Over 2/3rds of men who catch AIDS do so from same sex contact. Obly 10% of men catch it through normal sex. That's half as high as someone that uses iv drugs.

2/3rds of women get AIDS through normal sex, given to them by their partner who goes both ways.

Please refer to the link provided.
