Someone keeps calling me on my cell phone and I am assuming they are using *67 because it comes up restricted. I think it is someone I know, but how can I call them back without knowing there number, or how can I find out who it is. I don’t want to involve the police because its not that big of a deal yet, but they keep calling me! Last night I got a call at 1am and 4am and I want it to stop!! I really need to find out who it is. Thanks!!

Sorry, you can't find out the name of your mystery caller without going to the police.

The only people who can find that information are the police in conjunction with the phone company (there must be a legal document to necessitate the potential invasion of the caller's privacy [yeah - go figure!]). If the person identified by you proves to be the caller, you may then take court action against them to stop the calls. (it's called harassment)

There are other, illegal means of finding the number, but I won't tell you how to do an illegal act (will I :~) - coz that would make me a party to the crime. (and I'm a good boy!)

I believe the phone company can set up a number block (without informing you of the caller's identity), if you tell them the times of the calls, however the mystery caller could use any street phone to get around that.

I suggest you turn your phone to silent overnight to prevent it ringing-out / buzzing and just ignore the calls. Another option is that you could get a new sim card with a different number and have whichever phone package you are on transferred. Then you would have to go to the pain of telling only the people you trust your new number...

This is a lot of trouble for you to go to - but that just might be their point

Get a No Cost Phone Number Scan at FREEPEOPLESCAN.COM

Its a good way to start. The place lets you to do a no cost phone scan simply to find out if any telephone data is there. This basic alalysis is done without cost. For a full detailed report its a modest payment.

Here's Reverse / Whose Number Lookup page. If you're talking about cell phones, you usually have to pay for that. I've had pretty good luck just using Google a phone number to find out who's calling. If you are researching a quantity of numbers, though, I suppose, you might want a service. I can't imagine why the average person would need to research a quantity of numbers, though, so I assume this is business-related, and it then seems only fair that you pay for a service. But maybe it's not.

Phone Number and Whose Number Records Database: https://tr.im/IotI9
Public records are named so because these are records that are meant to be obtained by public and when you say "public", it could be anyone. Public records can be used by anyone for investigations and other things like genealogy, verifications, and free background check. When you say it is public, there is no need to ask permission to the person who is named on the records or the person that you are investigating. You also do not need to ask permission from the government if you want to obtain such records by social security number. All you have to do is to visit them and follow the process of requesting the public records and then wait for the records to be ready for pick up. Once you already have the records that you need, you are now ready to perform a free reverse phone check.

This is the best option for a reverse phone number lookup whose telephone number called.
Receiving a one or two hang up calls each month is probably nothing to worry about, but when those calls increase in frequency and if it happens in the middle of the night then you must do something to stop it, before it starts affecting your life. With the help of this services you can take away the one advantage these people have - their anonymity.

Some numbers begin with 67 plus your number,
the only trouble is, they try calling the person
with your same internal number by inputting
67 + your number, trying to get the 67
country's number that is yours plus
the restriction. It's usually 141 in
my country rather than 67, but
67 works too.
Probably a
wrong number!
