I think all we would see is dollar sign$$$$! I started out not minding Sugarland but as each single comes out, her accent sounds more fake and nasel whiney (for lack of better terms) and they get GONGED of they come on my radio. Never have liked Rascal Flatts, can't stand his voice either! Keith Urban, well, there are a few songs I can handle but I haven't bought any of his music. Kenny Chesney, what can I say? Nothing nice, that's for sure, send him to Mexico cuz that is all he sings about anymore. Who is Cowboy Toy?? And then there's Big and Rich....some songs of theirs I can handle and they are performing at a nearby fair this summer. I thought about going just to see what the hype is about.
What do you mean, too countryfied? Didn't know there was such a thing!! Take care!

OK first of all Sugarland is NOTHING COUNTRY and if they are then they should start releasing some of that music instead of just having it on Albums. I mean Kenny Chesney I could see saying is some country, he is a combination or pop and country. Now about the one saying about Cowboy Troy's singing HE DOESN'T SING. He is a RAPPER and if you accuse them of singing you would piss them off about it. I'm not saying he is Country because he isn't, I'm just saying get what he does straight. Actually his If you don't want to Love me was probably more country then most of the current idea of Country.
To be fair most of these singers have done the songs that are what Country is meant to be, which is songs of the people. They haven't sounded Country, sound Pop and rock(if they are lucky), but they are still at least keeping up the idea of singing about people and life. They aren't out singing about the 'hood or shooting up the neighbor.

Big & Rich / Cowboy Troy would have one crazy party going on....look at some of there videos!

Kenny C- Beach Party with Beer in Mexico ( seem to be a theme of his more recent songs)

Keith Urban- Motorcycles and australia

Rascal Flats- not sure

for the person who did not know who cowboy troy is, he is part of the music mafia along with big & rich , gretchen wilson, jason aldean. they kinda think of themselves as the new outlaws of country.

Sugarland- to new of a band to get a good feel of at least for me.
