Don't tell me to grow up when I ask a legitimate question. That is rude.

Maybe they can't do anything about their leaders! Maybe it's a great nation to them because they hold a dream in their hearts of what it could be,and one day it will be.It's where they were born, where mothers ,brothers, sisters ,grandparents have chosen to stay or have died believing it would have gotten better. But, they want to earn money.to send back home.Things of the western world they want for themselves ,that Mexico doesn't have!

Hello,
you did ask a ligitimate question, and I'm gonna address your question with respect....even though it does imply somewhat of an ignorant stance....
I'm an American living here in Mexico and it definitely is a beautiful country with great people. I will give you the most intelligent answer and honesty about why the people migrate to the US. The government here is so corrupted it is so disgusting. However, most people adapt and get through. It is a small percentage that migrates to the U.S.
My advice to you would be not to take every image and every word you see on the news media in the U.S. It definitely distorts and sensationalizes the coverage. Hell, look what happened when 53 million Americans voted for Bush?? Now that is more disgusting than worrying about the Mexican people migrating to the U.S.
Besides, who the hell is gonna build the wall they speak of? Who is gonna slave in the fields picking the fruits you eat? clean your facilities, watch your children.......all for below the minimum wage??
See, I believe that 53 million Americans still exists that continue to think in the most ignorant manner possible. These are the people who have ruined the country I fought for during the Gulf War, Bush will go eventually....but these racist idiots remain glued to the tv, take every image that is fed to them like bate and behave in the most strangely behavior by continuing to vote for people like Bush.
Please, whoever you are that asked this question.....stop and take a good look in your own backyard before you even think about putting down a group of people you know nothing about.

Mexico has an amazing history and cultures, but there is a lot of poverty, especially in the deserts in the north near US border.
Just because it has had years of problems of corruption and a goverment that doesn't cushion the blow of poverty for the poor, the poor population has continued to grow, so they do what anyone would do, they flee to a place with more opportunity. Some flee to mexico city, others flee to USA.
They do love their culture but corruption and poverty have made much of it unlivable. They're just trying to survive.
Woudn't you?

About 48,000 U.S. native born US persons emigrate annually FROM the US to other countries.
It is not only from Mexico.
I have met many retired us citizens in Mexico´s towns and they refuse to learn Spanish or talk to Mexicans, some even pay in dollars and try to barter with prices at restaurants and supermarkets... In ENGLISH!!!!
It is the same in all the world.
