It was just another stupid war sold to the American people based on lies and achieving nothing. And to the vet - thanks for what you did and sorry we sent you there, but don't forget GWB also avoided service by joining national guard/reserves which at that time were almost never deployed into combat and you had to be well connected at that time to even get in. But the point is good, maybe it is not political parties maybe it is Men From Texas - LBJ and GWB - who keep us in unnecessary controversial wars.

Liberals. They learned the truth about their government from the Vietnam invasion and learned that they could effectively protest the actions of the government.
Conservatives. They learned the value of controlling the media and free access to information in order to control the public's point of view.
Vietnam. Taught them that if someone invades your homeland, they will get their booties whupped.
Rest of the world. Taught them that America cannot win a real war anymore.

Here you go poco many Mexican Americans fight well WE took a walk from that war many love to say we lost not true.Last year I went there as soon as they know I was a yank and my age they treated me well A guide and I had a little talk I told him many things he said were not true It turns out that poor soul was in a re-ed camp for 5 years in the day he would poke around for land mines with a stick He said to me "look I have a wife and kids I need this job you understand don't you" I do After we left they went to war with most of the broder countries that was O K with the world the Yanks had left!

First as a wounded vet of that war , I take offense at the remark made by MUMTUX. How did the Bushes get in the picture. Remember my commander & chief was a Democrate. Dont you liberals remember L.B.J?? No one was a winner in that war. The North now has the south as their slaves & a democrate who would not fight this war wants us to be trading parteners. Do you liberals remember draft dodger BILL?? The Vietmam people have nothing I want but my youth back.

Why do your people come here illegally and steal the jobs that native Americans could have taken?
