Personally, I think the rest of the uniform upgade is cool---but that helmet is terrible. If they're going to go with that helmet, they might as well bring back the most famous AFL-era helmet with the numbers underneath the gold bolt. (Ignoring the brief, uglier 1960 and 1966 variants.)
Or---they could bring back the Dan Fouts era helmet, 1974-1987, that had the gold bolt and gold facemask. To me, growing up in the 1980s, that was was pretty darn iconic . . . Air Coryell, baby!

The original 1960 helmet was a sports' classic.
But sorry to say the reason for so many changes is to make the fan spend more money on merchandise. Nothing to do with the team, just revenue to the greedy owners.

When the new uniforms first came out, I was a little disappointed. It looked like it was a areana football uniform. I've gotten used to it, but I prefer the old uniform, including the old helmet. The new helmet looks OK, but the AFL-era helmet would look so kick @$$! :P I think the Bolts should have stuck with their original uniforms.

I say it looks wack atleast go back to there old uniform the helmet is just nasty and uniform is not so bad,whoever makes the uniforms has bad taste!

They shouldn't have changed the uniforms in my opinion. I think they looked just fine the way they were.

they all look ugly to me. wat the hell kinda colors r those? the only best color is the baby blue jerseys. the rest all look nasty.
and to the guy who said u will say those colors in superbowl. sorry to tell u this, but they will never make it to the superbowl.
