No. We go, "Hey, is there anything I can do for you today?" and the other person responds.
No need to order folks about. Just a little clear, honest communication.
ie: "Well, hon, will you throw in a load of whites for me, that would help..."
Other than that, I'm pretty self-directing. At 48, if he's having to order me about, I'd have to be pretty thick.
I mean, why should his every waking thought be devoted to what instruction to give me next? He has other things to do. If he'd wanted another kid, he'd of had one more.
Me, he doesn't have to monitor. Have a couple kids, Sandy, see how much time you have for planning someone else's itinerary, and how much fun that can be. Either your partner functions or he/she doesn't function. I pick Function. It's soooo much easier.

This is what I should've said from the beginning;this is a proper and very honest answer. Yes it does sound familiar, very familiar. There've been times I've been busy with one thing; my husband would come in, order me to do something right then and there, I would just do as he has me to do. It doesn't matter if what I was doing is more important. When I'm finished I just go back to doing what I was doing; true at times it's nerve wracking. Still, not one word of complaint ever comes out of my mouth.

There is difference between 'being needed' or 'feeling needed' and being ordered around. So no, I wouldn't like it. And no, it doesn't sound familiar. Besides, 'feeling needed' should be something the person 'feels' not 'sees'. She, he or it, should be able to tell

No I wouldn't want him to order me around and tell me to do more than I'm doing for him already. In all reality I think my man could be more supportive and understanding towards me.

B*ll*cks. If I were attached (My current status is single) I would not like to be ordered around, but I would help. If he finished work after me, sure I'd have dinner ready for him, but I wouldn't wipe his @ss for him! LOL, relationships are strange.

Yes and No
I would like him to ask me politely if he needed something then my answer will be yes.
But when he keeps bossing around and ask me to do every little thing then my answer will be a big NO!

Yes, I love it when my husband tells me what to do... it makes me melt and I feel very feminine and respectful towards him!

Never heard that before. Are you sure you aren't being kidded? Women usually get fed up with royal commands.
