Now this would depend on who,when and what the emotional damage was/is?
Then it depends on what proof you have? The law goes on proof not truth my friend.
Then you have to consider the financial cost of going to court?
If you are thinking of taking a very wealthy person to court you have to remember that they might keep you held up in the legal system until you go broke, can you afford it?
In many cases it depend on your finances, not if you are right of wrong, tough but true, I know because I would love to take someone to court and have proof by the bucket load but cannot afford to do so. I have added a couple of links as an example for you so you can see what I am talking about if you want to.
