My two friends Rico and Kathy. They're homeless people who live here. I actually met them on a street corner on Christmas Eve last year. Turns out there really are people who just ended up there. I always heard there were people that being homeless "happened" to. But, I think if we aren't careful, we forget they're people, too. And sometimes people are down on their luck... and sometimes we need to reach out to eachother.
I didn't mean to preach... but that's what I thought of.

myself at a point in my life I had hit rock bottom and was homeless myself, It was not fun but I had no one to blame but myself.

well the first thing that comes to mind are beggars then next one are those animals specifically cats who dont have owners.
