Anyone who says Clemens has lost it. Pedro is. If Pedro is washed up what does that make Clemens? Pedro is 10 years younger. Pedro will have a bigger impact. The Mets have struggled to find somone to replace him in the rotation. Pedro will send the Mets on a hot streak in the 2nd half and start to run away from the Braves and Phillies.

Probably Roger Clemens even though he is a lot older, because this will be pedro's first time pitching in a long time and Roger Clemens has already had a couple of starts this season. Also, Roger Clemens still has more velocity than Pedro Martinez.

Pedro's return to the Mets is a bigger impact after the break than Clemens continuing with the Yanks.

Pedro at 60% is a huge improvement over Vargas, Pelfrey, and Dave Williams. Plus he is a positive influence in the dugout.

Clemens will still be solid, but probably start to tire as the season draws to a close.

By far Pedro the Mets are makeing way to close for comfort in the NL East race and a few extra wins instead of say a loss every single outing when Pelfrey gos out will be very benaficial. Hell when Pelfrey throws i do not even know why they play the game

I guess I'll say Roger Clemens ONLY because Pedro is still on the D.L don't know how good he's doing tho. Oh maybe I should just pick neither.

pedro by far, he could help the mets get a bigger lead in the east and like some 1 else said no more automatic loses from pelfrey/vargas

Clemens wont have much of an impact, sure hell win a few games but it wont matter cause it deffinetly doesnt seem like the yanks are making the playoffs this year

No matter how small a contribution, it'll be Clemens. Pedro isn't even suppose to come back until August, and who knows how how effective he'll be.

Definitely Martinez in that he takes a Mets team which is sort of floundering right now and makes them the immediate favorite to win the National League, and maybe the World Series.
