Use wet tea bags ... the regular 'orange or black pekoe' type of tea, not 'herbal' or 'flavored' teas. The tannins in the tea will help stop the burning, and will also help you to 'tan' where you are 'burned' now ... and after this WEAR ENOUGH CLOTHES AND SUNSCREEN so you don't get 'burned' again.

One of the best things you can do is aply Aloe. They also have moisturising lotions that repair damage by UV rays, and soothe your sunburn at the same time. If you go back in the sun, cover the area of your sunburn! Feel better!

Skin cream may work better. A cool bath helps. Burn lotion with pain relief is available at drug stores.

My grandmother used to rub a mixture of gasoline and WD-40 on my sunburn as a child. It didn't really ease the pain, but I could slide out of the handcuffs with ease.
