Yes. It was something that I had wanted to do. I am glad that I have done it, and that I am able to be proud of the result. But I never - ever - want to do it again.

I almost did a few years ago. But I was dismissed because I had a biased opinion about the case. I knew someone who was having the same problem as the person involved in this court case.
My husband went 3 days in a row after he got his jury duty notice.
3 days of missing work & didn't get picked to serve. It was 3 days of just sitting & waiting to be called in for questioning.
My girlfriend wants to be on a jury so bad but they never contact her.
Matter of fact...I don't personally know anyone who has served.
Sorry.

i have come close several time....been in the jury box was asked questions and then let go......i have noticed that if you are in the first group that gets called into the jury box you have a good chance of being let go.....the closest I came to actually serving on a jury....i was in the box and had not been released....we went to lunch and when we got back the judge said that the case was settled (it was criminal so figure that their must have been a plea bargain) and we were released to go back to the waiting room....

i replaced into called to jury accountability yet all the circumstances have been settled and so no jury replaced into formed. incredibly plenty the 1st element the decide informed us in the time of his creation replaced into that the courts pull jury applicants out of the DMV information and not the voter registration information, and that this replaced right into a uncomplicated false impression.

I have been summoned twice, the first time I was in the hospital with one of my surgeries. That was about 7 years ago.
The second was Dec. 2006, I went but was not chosen for the case they were trying.
