"The effects of hangover are triggered by the elimination of alcohol by your body. The physiological and psychological effects of a hangover are strongly correlated with declining blood alcohol levels, and hangover symptoms reach maximum at about the time that blood alcohol levels reach 0."

I dunno. I don't drink til I get drunk for health reasons. But I have never understood why someone drinks until they get drunk, they know a hangover is coming the next day, yet they do it anyway and then they complain the next day because they have a hangover. You can't say well you should have thought about that last night, because you know they did. But didn't care. So then you just want to tell them to hush and stop complaining because they did it to themselves and the knew it was coming. BTW there is no cure for a hangover, that has been proven.

Because you dehydrate! Thats why drinking a couple of huge glasses of water when you finally go to bed helps with the hangover!

I,m sorry, but I truly believe there is no sensible answer to this question, if there was, we would just not drink & solve that problem all together. they say there is a hangover pill out there, but they can,t sell it for some stupit reason. also who thinks to drink alot of water before passing out anyway, all one wants to do is hit the pillow & well hope for the best in the AM.
