Does newspaper make a good substitute when you have no toilet paper? Does anyone else used this method when other alternatives are not available?

Use a wet washcloth. Newspaper will clog up the plumbing and is not anal friendly. Worst case scenerio, gotta use what is available.

you probably have a low toilet for like short people why dont you try buying a new toilet, with the big bowl.....i dought your balls then will touch the water....since the toilet is tall! but i think is cause of your toilet seat!

You can use it in a pinch, but that's kind of what you have to with it. Pinch it off.
Use your socks if you have to. Then just flush 'em. You can go barefoot or just wear shoes without socks.

sorry not in my books, I will use a dish rag before I will use newspaper, & a clean one at that.

Try the old "carpet rub", it works for my coon hound!

try a napkin. the ink might rub off and leave your butt black.
