How to verify if the HP Laser Jet catridges we bought are genuine?

Did they come in proper "HP" boxes ? If so changes are they are correct.
If you are concerned, when you put one in a printer it will tell you if the chip on it reads as genuine HP or not.

Did you buy them as "HP" or "HP Compatable" if the latter, they are not genuine.
If they came in boxes that were NOT the blue/white standard HP packing, they are NOT genuine.

There should be a badge similar to the Microsoft genuine badge on the cadridge. THe badge is greyish-silver and changed colour when faced against the sun or just ordinary light.

Otherwise if it fist its genuine i always say as long as you did not pay some sky high price on it.

if the HP logo is on it, then its genuine.
