I just dropped in to see what some of the answers were and noticed you had Sting as your all time favorite.

That was mine too!

The Dream of the Blue Turtles tour was the best show I have ever seen. He played 4 hours with no opening band. Somethign like 6 encores which included just him and a guitar doing some classic Police.
Second was the first Lollapalooza. When Nine Inch Nails came on I got caught in a surge of people that rushed the stage. I got carried (literally off my feet) through the barricades to the front. It was amazing.

Third was seeing the Breeders in a small club. Kim Deals' sister wasnt as proficient on the guitar then, but it was a blast.

I have to say your list is impressive. You dont find many that would follow up a Winger concert with a trip to see the Cure. ;)

The ones I've seen in concert are all Smooth Jazz artists and they are:

1. Keiko Matsui (1 time)
2. Paul Taylor (1 time-when he was the saxaphone player for the artist listed at #1)
3. Jeff Kashiwa (when he was with a group called The Rippingtons)
4. Eric Marinethal (with The Rippingtons)
5. Fattburger (1 time)
6. Strunz and Farah (1 time)
7. The Rippingtons (2 times)
8. George Benson (at a Jazz Festival 1 time)
9. Diane Schuur ( same Jazz Festival as #8 1 time)

The one I would see in concert again if they come back to my area is The Rippingtons because their show is truly enjoyable.

The Who, with power drummer Keith Moon. Great songs, each member was a musical genius in their own right. Awesome stage presence, LOUDEST band I ever heard. Peter Townsend's famous leaps and windmill licks, Roger Daltrey's kick-*** vocals, and John Entwhistle's jarring bass...I've seen the Stone's, Led Zep, Skynyrd, etc. None could match the blazing power of a Who concert.

" looking back what was the HOTTEST concert you have ever been to"

Marillion, Rochester, NY Penny Arcade, June 16, 1990..... the air conditioning was out and the place was packed. Definitely the HOTTEST I've attended. The stream of sweat off Pete Trawavas was continuous to the floor, not just drips.

Hmm,problematic to assert, i understand there became an open admission steel competition in Moscow, Russia in 1992 that drew like 750,000 human beings. The stay overall performance became so great that for the duration of it there have been like a hundred rapes and 11 deaths.

The most amazing concert I've been to I was in general admission at Nine Inch Nails. I was about eight people away from the stage, directly in front of Trent. It hardly gets better than that.
