A very docile black lab by the name of Freda. She had a black spot on her tongue and I used to like to use her as a pillow when I lay on the floor. She lived to be a very old lady before we had to put her to sleep.

A yellow cat named 'Banana'. That cat hated me. I wanted to hug him ALL the time (I was only 2). My mom gave him away. Probably saved the poor critter from being mauled to death.

A retriever/German shepherd dog named Duke who was actually female - my brother just wanted a dog named Duke. She had a puppy we named Duchess even though she was a he. They didn't seem to care.
