Do you think some gay people can be physically attracted enough to the opposite sex to have sex with them, but are not really into them like they are with the same sex? So the sex is just sex and maybe done for acceptance or because they can't find anyone else?
One of my best friends is a lesbian and stopped having sex with men and then called herself only gay. Her interest in men was dropped completely for the past few years. She said the guys had to be perfect to go out with them and that was probably to make up for the fact that she was gay.
A male friend says he is bi, then admitted after meeting a "relationship material" guy that he only has sex with women because he gets less attached to them. He was high most of the time when he had sex w/ his gf. He said he was ashamed of the times he would act straight around straight guys.
Does anyone have a similar experience?

Are gays much more emotionally involved with the same sex, but can have sex with the opposite sex and not be that into it?
So they are motivated to have sex with the opposite sex because of other motives, like denial of their gayness, experimenting, or not wanting to be alone.

For some people, sex is just sex weather it is with a male or female.

Without getting into too many potentially offensive descriptions of what me and my wife have done over the years, I think sexuality can best be compared to your preference for food. Some people like sushi, some don't, and some aren't even willing to try it. Some people like certain tastes and foods, others don't. It's all PERSONAL PREFERANCE. Then there are others who like a variety of foods, tastes, experiences. Should we label them as straight, gay, lesbian, or bi because they are more open minded sexually? Who's to say? Can only say that what people do behind closed doors is NOBODY'S business but theirs and the friends they invite inside!

Some gay people marry people of the opposite sex, hoping this will "fix" the problem. Later they get a divorce.

I have met people who define themselves as gay, are "out-of-the-closet" and continue to have sex with the opposite sex. My friends who define themselves as bisexual or pansexual face discrimination from heterosexuals and homosexuals alike. I think many people cling to them term gay because it gives them a sense of belonging to a community and because it is safer.
Also I think sexuality is more fluid then most of us would like to believe.

We all want to be loved and accepted by others in society and by our families. I spent a lot of time trying to be the sex I was born into, but I was always faking it. I think we finally just accept ourselves.

because being gay is glamorized and advertised so they think that they can do what they want, its all just a poison of their minds it affects mostly weak hearted people, who are the ones that turn gays.
