When did you first get your period like at what age , where were you when you got it and in what way did you tell your mum or dad?

i was 12 yrs old, i was changing into my skating outfit [i figure skate] and i noticed a red/brown stain in my underwear. my mom was at work, my dad was about to take me to the skating rink. i sorta laughed it off, i was like "nah...its not..it cant...hahhahahah no." after my class had our health lesson when i was 10, my mom had left a packet of pads on my bed when i got home. i had them in my underwear drawer, and i never ever spoke to my mom about it. since i had those, i put one on and continued my night skating.
when i got home and changed..yeah.
realized it was what i thought it wasnt lol
i went through the whole "do i tell her?!!!" with my mom.
i did the whole "Mom?"...."yes?"..."NEVERMIND." thing at least 5 times.
the sixth time, she was like 'WHAT?!" lol she was annoyed.
then i was like "oh um..i have my period."
and she was like "i was wondering if that had happened yet." then she hugged me, and i reallyyy wanted to pull away lol
i never ever speak of it to my family, i just tell my mom when i need more tampons.

I was 11 years old, going on 12 in a few months. I went to toilet at around 10pm one night and saw my underwear was completly soaked in bight cherry red blood and it was everywhere, I had no idea about it before that. I knew what is was the moment I saw it, and went into shock for a couple seconds, like froze. I ran out crying to my mum in the next room because it was everywhere and I was an emotional mess that day because I was so tired all day for that reason, but I didn't know.

I was in 6th grade, about 12, and i went into the bathroom in the morning at school and looked and it was bloody..i didnt feel like going to the office to ask for a pad....so i waited till lunch and then had my friend ask.I went home and as soon as i walked into the door i was like mom i need pads. the worst part my sister , brothers and bros Gf and her dad were in the living room at the time.. i also think her brother was there to.. lol.. I was verrry happy tho.. i told my whole family.. i still let people Know when im on it too.

Im 13 right now and i got my period when i just turned 12. I was at my house with my m8 and i was getting bad cramps so i went to the toilet and there it was. My mum wasnt there at the time so i just found a pad, i never told her

I was at home when I got it and told my Mum and she and I were all giggly as she found out some pads for me. I think I was just turned 14.

i was 14 in 8th grade i felt strange all day i got in on the school bus on my way home from school well i did not say anything for about a year i guess just because i did not want them (mom and dad) to give me a big talk because i knew what was happing i have 2older sister i finally told her last year in November before my 16 birthday am 16 now

I was around 14 and it was over the school holidays. My mum had to teach me a thing or two about pads.

I got mine when I was like 13 years old. I freaked out because my mother never told me anything. I thought I was dying and I ran into the kitchen where my mother was at. She was excited and told me I was becoming a woman..Thank goodness I was at home..

sorry ladies to diturbing u but i want to tell one thg that
3 months ago me my classmate sara was in the park and swimming
she want to jump from the upstairs and she did then we wanted to leave the pool i saw her back site was full of like red liquid and told her that watch out u r back site
then she saw and crying and then i gave her my short pant
and went to the footground and talk with her bcz she was crying alot and she tought that she is going to die
and i knew that what is this bcz me and she read it in a biology book and i just remind her that this is that
and then she had stopped crying and we went to the shop and bought pad etc ............
from that day till now we r together and now we r boy friend and girl friend

got it when i was 13 and it was summer my little sister wanted to go swimming an g my older sister was in the room and im like i can go swimming almost cried my older sis told my dad and my dad told my mom..there u have it
