When I was about 7, our church showed movies on Wednesday nights. They were, I suppose, early versions of the Left Behind movies... But at 7, they were terrifying! In one, the Christians are not allowed to shop in stored without the Mark of the Beast, and are eventually forced to live in hidden dug-outs. Some had friends who were marked who would smuggle them food and water, but when they were discovered, they were all decapitated on a gillotine. The song playing was "We Are One In the Bond of Love" ~ I can't stand to even hear that song anymore!
In another movie, it started out with different scenes of people waking up without their spouse, others looking over to find nobody driving the car, an airplane where the pilot and half the passengers disappear. When I was in Jr. High, I came home from walking the dog, and nobody was home, nobody was in the streets, it felt eery. I thought I'd missed the Second Coming. . .
That was almost 30 years ago ~ I think maybe I was just too young to watch them!

Poltergeist still scares me to this very day. I hate the clown toy, I hate the muddy pool o' skeletons, I hate when the guy's face rots off, and I hate at the end when she's trying to go into the kids' bedroom to save them, and they freaky boney skeleton monster appears. I just recently rented the whole trilogy... All three creep me out!! The third one is the least creepy though.

I do agree w/ William B. about that part in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose." It's the freakiest part in the whole movie.

i exchange into worried by 'The Birds'. I nonetheless get chills as quickly as I see a flock of birds lining up on a fence or severe twine. unusual, yet I wasn't worried by Psycho or the different the different horror video clips i've got seen. surely I nonetheless like to observe The Blob, the 1958 version.

The first Children Of The Corn, freaked me right out, and ever since I watched it, I get easily freaked out by horror movies. I think it's because it was kids that were possessed that made it the worst. Watch it, well actually don't watch it. LOL

I have to tell on myself. The worst movie to me is something not even scary to most of the population. It is supposed to be a comedy, but when I watched it, yikes. I cannot watch Bettlejuice. To this day, if I see even a clip or hear the opening music, I have nightmares. I hate that movie! I'm an adult, and I still cannot watch that movie. That's just sad. I'm so ashamed of myself.
