no, you are the one who left it there. i accidentally threw five dollars away when i was cleaning today. it is possible it got lost in clean up and it is gone. there might have been other people in his house and they might have taken it. there are many things that could have happened, but in the end, it belongs to you and it was your responsibility.

It's understandable to be mad at him for saying "you shouldn't have left it there", he should be a bit more supportive and help you find the camera. Maybe someone in the family took it not knowing it was yours, doesn't make it right in any way you look at it. Next time remember not to leave $300 pieces of electronics lying around, sorry to say... even at your boyfriends' house.

Hmmm. Why would you be mad at him. Didn't you leave your camera there? Well, I'd think that your property would be safe with his family, but you never know. Maybe someone grabbed it by mistake or misplaced it. Maybe you left it somewhere else...or maybe someone had taken it. Just keep your eyes peeled for your camera the next time there is a family party. Sorry, don't be mad at him since you forgot it there.

No, you have no right to be mad at him. Try being mad at yourself for leaving such an expensive piece around to get lost or stolen by anyone there at the party. Were there kids at this party because younger kids love taking things that look expensive and the parent may find it on the next laundry day. I am sure it will turn up since it was just family. Have you only asked him about it or have you asked his folks if they have seen it? Maybe they will allow you to come over to look yourself.

You can only be mad at yourself and the person who may have taken it, however your BF should not assume that all of his guests are above reproach either!
I would ask him what he thinks happened to it if nobody has taken it! Did it just disappear into camera limbo?
The very bottom line is, somebody that was or IS in that house took that camera if you can't find it! There simply is no "if, ands or buts" about it! It's either there or it's not, and if it's "not" then somebody took it!
Dig?

You're a victim twice. First, they take your camera, then the person that should be in your corner, doesn't seem to care about your property. You have every right to be upset. He should get to the bottom of things and get you camera back. Good Luck!
