I don't have any other problems while on it, but stomach pains. God, I hate it. Midol seems to help a bit, sometimes.

The cramps are caused by your uterus contracting to get rid of the blood and shed the lining inside. Using Midol, Motrin, Tylenol, and Aspirin will help relieve the pain. I also recommend soaking in a hot bath or even using the heat pads that you can wear for up to 8 hours. Those things are awesome! They work so great. They put out enough heat to soothe you all day without burning you.

It's probably cramps. If normal doses of Midol don't help enough, you should see your doctor about taking stronger painkillers and/or birth control pills to reduce the cramps.

hi!those are called Mittel-Schmerz pains and are normal.they happen because when of a local inflammation around your ovaries when you're having a period.
exercising during your period can lessen the pain significantly.i know it may seem hard with all the pain but it is a proven fact that we read in our books all the time! plus i've tried it and it works on me!
you can also take a drug called mefenamic acid(this is the generic name, a lot of companies make it, just look for the active ingredient).it lessens the pain and the blood flow.
hope i helped!

It's not necessarily your stomach that hurts, but your insides are moving around, the abdomen is cramping, etc. This is normal on heavy days.

Cramps caused by the contraction of the uterus to expel the lining. It's completely normal and most women get them.
