Mahela Jayawardene looks to be the best. But he has some good batsmen, three of the world's best bowlers and a bunch of good fielders. But Rahul Dravid will be better in terms of man management. Mahela, according to me will pass the test only when he captains the Indian team and Rahul will do better if he is made captain of Sri Lanka.

It would have to be Dravid or Jayawardene. Malik and Ashraful have only just been appointed and while Malik has led Pakistan to a series victory, he has not yet proved himself as a captain. Both Dravid and Jayawardene's careers have seen ups and downs. Based on current form, I would say Jayawardene - he bats like a captain and has taken his team to a world cup final and a thumping series win over Bangladesh.
