Yes, I was driving without a license, I wouldn't have been there if I was innocent! Sometimes we need to get slapped when we do the wrong thing, smart people learn by their mistakes and they don't repeat them. Luckily enough I never did anything really bad and the time I spent in jail was just until the next morning.

No.
But, my husband has. No, he was not innocent... he served 3 months in military jail, because right after boot camp, he came home, married me and refused to go back - so he went AWOL for 3 months before they caught him. And I was there when they arrested him. And he had to serve his time in the military brig that was 3 states north of where I live. So, I couldn't visit him or anything for that whole 3 months.

There is a very small fraction of people that are in jail and are innocent.
There is a very large percentage of people in jail that are guilty and just say they are innocent hoping to get some one's compassion and attention.
Most of all the people in jail are guilty of breaking some law.
But EVERYONE has a choice on whether or not they choose to live right by the law or not.

Yes, a couple of times. In a holding cell, but never did "real" jail time. Always driving on a suspended license when I was young and stupid. I had to get to work, no one else could drive me. Longest I stayed before being bailed out was about 4 hours.... scariest moment of my life.

yep

We went to a house to have a party after meeting the guy downtown. He told us to go on up he would be there soon but the guy had moved and we went to the old house and we were partying in the house waiting for our friend while a scared lady was in the back room calling 911!

charges were dropped after the misunderstanding was cleared up but I was in jail all night with my friends while it was sorted out.
