I got to say yelling at a child will only make it worse.Okay what you should do but you don't have to take my word for it but parenting classes did help.First if your child is doing something to bother you like not listening.Sit down take a break so you don't use anger.Anger just makes things worse!Also YELLING makes it worse!Kids look for attention but if you are always yelling at them they are getting negative attention.Bad attention is not what you want for them.Next sit your child down and tell your child what is bothering you.Ask them what are you going to do to change it.Also if you give them a punishment like no tv or video games for the day STICK WITH WHAT YOU SAID!Structure is what kids need.If you tell them no video games and you go back on it when the child starts throwing a tantrum then the little one will do it next time. Also when they do something good TELL THEM.Kids need to hear they are doing good.Also chore charts are good it teaches responsability.also tell them you are proud of them.HOPE THIS HELPS!
