Homophobes view themselves as perfect judges of everyone's sexuality. I'd like to see them give up sex at all. Your last question about why they won't see the light about AIDS and heterosexuals says most of it....They could never live up to those standards and, alas 'There are none so blind as those who refuse to see'.

You really have a thing against homophobes. You need to do some serious reading and get a bit more educated. Most people you run into that claim they are Christians, if they are condemning you to hell they are Zealots and Harlots. Sexual promiscuity is frowned upon in the Christian world, just as it is with the gays. I for one will tell you that to remain abstinent is a virtue. I took a vow of purity and do my best to maintain that vow. that means no sexual activity,no lustful thoughts, and no fouled language as well as treating my fellow man with kindness. I certainly do not fit your stereotypical ideal that you have perceived. There is an old adage about pointing fingers, when you point there are three fingers pointing back at you, this makes you three times as bad as the person you are pointing at.
Hope this enlightens you. I'll keep you in prayers.

Because many homophobes are christian and it says in the bible that the "Act of Homosexuality" is Forbidden. They have taken this to mean that if two men have sex that is a sin. So they don't want us to have sex.

It's ridiculous. They say that people should be married to have sex, then they say gays shouldn't have the right to be married. Maybe they think they can turn gay people straight by "trapping" them in this way. There are a lot of d-bags in this world, I guess that is the answer to your question.
