And to Joey mangisi, A lott of people say that, but they don't know my country. I am a collie jamaican with light skinn/caramel, light eyes, and long hair. But Jamaican is my Nationality.

And yes, in Jamaica there is low tolerance for gays. We call em chi chi mon and botty mon.In certain parts of Jamaica, they will put bullits in gays in a heartbeat!

Even thought i don't like you Kai, good answer. And most white people and tourist think it is beautiful who stay at the resorts and reserved beaches. But if you go into Kingston and into Trenchtown you will think other wised. My family are rich Arabs in Jamaica that live in big houses outside of Kingston. But i also have Family in Bridgeport, way deep into it in the country side. I also have family who live in the Ghettos of kingston.

Im from Trinidad, and I dont think West Indians are laid back at all. We are very hype, excitable people, maybe the above user is thinking of some old folks.. As far as the person who said you dont "look" Jamaican, I cant understand how that person brain works, because Jamaica has all races, just like Trinidad and the US. So that was stupid on that users part. A lot of people have this misconception that we are living in paradise all the way around. This is incorrect. I think the geography is that of a paradise, but people come here to the US for OPPORTUNITIES. Ill never trade being a west indian though. I was born on the water ;)....

All of the islands have their different foods, music, and ways of being. All of the people are different, its hard to generalize. My best friend is jamaican and married to a bajan, so they tell me about all their differences. Reggaes not my favorite, but its cool. I love the food. Curry goat and roti's are the bomb! So is ginger beer and sorrel! I guess the one thing I dont like is that Jamaican men are know for their promiscuity. Sure wish I could be in any one of those islands right now!

I love a lot of the foods and Puka sauce is my absolute favorite hot sauce (strong and flavorful). I've always been a big reggae fan, also calypso and soca. And I love tropical places. So I guess that means I would love Jamaica, though I haven't been there (yet). don't like.... I'm not crazy about curry goat or ginger beer. But every other jamaican food/drink I've tried I've liked.

I love the Jamaican accent. I also like people who take life more slowly. I've never been to Jamaica, but I do know that it is characteristic of many islanders to be very laid back. That's a southern trait too, so I relate to it.

We're pretty sexy. I'm a lovely mix of mostly Cruzan and Bahamian, but also Antiguan, Kittitian, Bajan. Except I can't stand how homophobic West Indians are. It's retarded - this is the year 2007. Come on now...

I love the music. I'm not crazy about the food. I think you are getting a rep for being hate territory for gays. I wouldn't feel comfortable going there.
