7/7/07 is no more lucky then 6/6/06 was unlucky or evil.
If this day is supposed to be magical, wouldn't history have recorded it as so when it came around last century? Wouldn't there be all sorts of story's, documents or other form of media about it?

It is supposed to be the luckiest day of the century because 7 is a lucky number. It will be 7-7-07! More weddings will happen on that day then ever before and more people will go to casinos to try their luck. There will be a global warming concert. Christians will gather in Tennessee to fast and pray. The superstitious will feel lucky. It's all about the luck!

Are you unaware of the fact that it's just a date? An entirely arbitrary one, made up by humans? I mean the year could just as easily be 8215 as 2007. The year could as easily start on the vernal equinox as it does on January first, and then the date would be entirely different, wouldn't it? Repeat after me: There is ABSOLUTELY no cosmic significance of any kind associated with human dates. Clear? Also, there is no such thing as luck, so nothing significant about "7".

Nothing really, but 7 is supposed to be a really lucky number, so 7/7/07 (777) is supposed to be the luckiest day of the century

Well, every July in our town we have a little event where a bunch of guys drive around in circles at high speeds for 400 miles. Tomorrow is when we're having it this year. One of them will get lucky and leave with a big chunk of change, does that count?

For all you NASCAR fans, I personally know several drivers and realise what they do [i.e. driving a 700+hp squirrelly vehicle at around 190+mph in a group of 30+ other cars] takes skill, so I am not knocking what they do. Even THEY make jokes that they just go a little, turn left, go a little, turn left.
