I would say yes. I am not a racist in any way but I was watching news the other day and it says that in UK we have to build 200 new homes per day just to accommodate immigrants. What about our own homeless people. I can understand why many people want to come and live in our country. If we could go abroad and set up homes, shops and businesses and get all the benefits then we probably would but unfortunately we would not be allowed to do half of what foreigners can do in this country. I appreciate that there may be good reason for immigration i.e work etc but you only have to wonder about the recent terror attacks in Glasgow and London and wonder if those doctors had ulterior motives for joining the NHS in the first place. If we didnt let so many immigrants and asylum seekers in then we may have less problems. Its high time Gordon Brown readdressed the whole situation.

In Australia we have had many, many years of immigrants with little or relatively no trouble.
My brother was dragged from his car 3 weeks ago and beaten by 4 young men, they weren't immigrants, they were Aboriginals, the indigenous people of Australia.
I haven't got anything against any immigrants, but now every time I see a group of Aboriginal's I worry!
I live in Adelaide, a relatively quiet city, but which over the last 12 months or so has been terrorised by a group of these Aboriginals, they are known by the police as "the gang of 49"
So in answer to your question, we have many immigrants but I know who i'd rather live next door to!

1st i cant believe it, but i actually agree with jim g.
2nd i cant believe there are so many idiots who are not bothered.
Some immigration is OK, but its out of hand now, particularly as incomers don't integrate. That's the difference between immigrants past and present, in the past incomers made an effort, they learnt the language and respected local customs.
As a kid i had lots of friends who were Jews, they were amongst the most patriotic people i knew, they loved England, however they still practised their religion. I also know that their parents made generous donations to local charities.
Wonder how many immigrants do that now, seems to be that they just want to take, and take.

A: Comes to this country for a better life. Becomes a US citizen. Contributes to society. Learns English.

B: Comes here illegally. Drains tax payers money. Has way too many kids. Doesn't speak a word of English. Commits crimes. Runs drugs in their butt across the border.


We have way too many from column B.

Yes, i live in a small town, two years ago all you heard was English, now we are becoming the minority. Incredible.
As for immigrants in the past, they used to make more of an effort to fit in, now WE have to change to their ways.
Cant wait for my employer to tell me i must learn Polish or Arabic, so i can communicate with my "Colleagues".

it is very selfish question but what ever u say or do it can not be stopped. it is not new, has been going on for 100s of years and will go one for 100s of years to come. Can you think of native Americans/ Australians/Africans and many others nations who were wiped out from from earth when the Europeans went in search of greener Pasteur, and take comfort by thinking what goes up comes down..at least the immigrants are doing the work you do not want to. you may also feel better by remembering that in comparison more leave country then enter into it.
