Seriously, I'm wanting to know.

The mind. Could it have anything to do with how the teenager/child was treated when she was little? Such as being teased in school and not having many friends?

could be Asperger's Disorder, or the child could just be precocious.

Or it could be like you said, they had some experiences early in the childhood that forced them to grow up faster than their peers.

y dont u just talk to him or her..talk to the child as a friend..may be it wil take time but eventually he will talk to you if there is any problem
