Nearly half of the US public wants President George W. Bush to face impeachment, and even more favor that fate for Vice President Dick Cheney, according to a poll out Friday.
The survey by the American Research Group found that 45 percent support the US House of Representatives beginning impeachment proceedings against Bush, with 46 percent opposed, and a 54-40 split in favor when it comes to Cheney.

he doesn't care about concensous which pisses everyone off and he certainly doesn't care about his pole numbers! I think that his approach to the job is flawed and he fights for what he wants rather then what the American people want. That being said, I still thank God that he was elected and Al Gore went home. The ones that scare me more then he ever could is Harry Reed and Nancy Pelosi-thankfully they have proved completely ineffective.

I LIKE BUSH BECAUSE............
Bush responded to the September 11th terrorist attacks with the War on Terror—led a coalition to defeat the terrorist-supporting regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, liberated 50 million people, and began rebuilding Afghanistan and Iraq.
Bush increased the defense budget 26 percent, the largest increase since the Reagan Administration.
Bush doubled investments in missile defense systems and will deploy the first ever land and sea-based system to counter mounting missile threats from rogue nations like North Korea and possibly even China and Iran.
Bush increased military pay by more than 21 percent over three years, expanded use of targeted pay and bonuses, and improved housing.
Bush protected America by creating and then nearly tripling homeland security discretionary funding.
Bush secured enactment of the largest Government reorganization in a half-century, merging 22 entities into the Department of Homeland Security.
Bush has provided $4.5 billion to State and local governments and hospitals for Bioterrorism preparedness, and secured $5.6 billion for the BioShield Initiative.
Bush transformed the FBI into an agency whose primary mission is to prevent terrorist attacks. Then rightfully increased its budget by over 40 percent so that we wouldn’t make the same mistakes made in the years leading up to the 911 attacks.
Bush implemented three major tax relief bills, granting tax relief to 109 MILLION AMERICAN TAX PAYERS and eliminated five million low income tax payers from paying income tax altogether.
Bush increased the child tax credit from $500 to $1,000, eliminated the marriage penalty tax for lower and moderate income taxpayers, provided 25 million small business owners with tax cuts averaging about $3,000, eliminated the death tax, and reduced taxes on capital gains.
Bush helped expand and encourage homeownership to achieve record high ownership rates, with more than one million new minority families purchasing homes since June 2002 and a record 68.4 percent of all Americans owning their homes.
Bush introduced a new Farm Bill that helped lead to a 10-percent increase in agriculture exports from $51 billion in 2000 to $56 billion in 2003.
WHAT I DO NOT SUPPORT BUSH ON......
Amensty for illegal aliens
Handling of Katrina
Failing to properly explain himself to the American people.
Failing to leave Iraq when our mission was completed.

I voted for him twice. I think he is doing a good job in a bad time. Its not easy making the decisions he has to make, and there are far too many armchair quarterbacks that are second guessing him.

I voted for him twice, but, I believe he has become mentally unstable. I lost respect for him as my President when he allowed border agents to go to prison for doing their job, and I believe he became unstable when he granted himself emergency powers that are nothing but dictatorial.
He's far from being the best President we've had, but he's definitely not the worst, that "honor" goes to Jimmy Carter.
