It seems that we are on a quest. As a quest is a journey, by the hero, us. Each of us are in our own quest, going from place to place, climbing many obstacles and facing foes of our own imagination or that of nature and man alike. We are looking for that which in the end is within ourselves. But like all quest, we do not know the end until we have travel the far and distance shores of our self.

Depends on who I am with. I would say it is a journey in some stages, and a quest at the same time.
It is like mining, sometimes you find the rarest stone, with the most beautiful clarity, and grade. The next you might come across something as common as a quarts, but the time and energy it took to form this one crystal is immense.
Finding the beauty or treasure in each moment, and each person we come across that is the unmeasured wealth that fuels my journey and quest in this life.
Blessings and love,
Sassy

No, I think that Life is a Journey.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.Over the years, I have discovered life is a journey, a pilgrimage, a sacred adventure. Within everyone’s inner solitude, there is that bright and warm hearth where the spirit dwells waiting to be roused. There are many paths to enlightenment, their teachings rich and varied offering wisdom and “food for thought” and everything we need for our journey to awakening lies within us. In the beginning, spirituality appears like the bud on a bloom, opening gradually, tempting us with a glimpse of its splendor and unfathomable depths. It is here we create the blueprint of our collective existence.
“Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations.”

No, I like thinking of my life as a journey. Treasure hunt sounds kinda cool, but I would hate to find out after all of this there is no treasure.

read ITHACA by konstantinos kavafis, a super-poem, and you'll get the idea.... the idea that life is a journey, and the destination doesn't matter cause we all know the destination, death! but what you do while travelling matters. do you learn from what you see? are you just partying? have you been a good person or a horrible one? do you want to be odysseus? odysseus travelled for 10 years till he reached home, and when he did athough he was old, he felt happiness and relief for being with the ones he loved, pleased with the experiences of the journey, even if he had to face monsters... he had become WISE... what a sweet word...- to me at least...

on a journey.. and we are all but travelers!
what a journey it has been
and the end is not in sight
but the stars are out tonight
and they're bound to guide my way
when they're shining on my life
I can see a better day
I won't let the darkness in
what a journey it has been!
I have been to sorrow..
I have been to bliss..
where I'll be tomorrow
I can only guess
through the darkest desert
through the deepest snow
forward, always forward.. I go...

They are all similar, but I think that the selection of a
particular answer would be based more on what came
before being born and what will happen after we pass
on, and what we will take with us from this life time.
Given that I can't conceive after-life as more than life, I
would choose treasure hunt because it seems to
imply that only essential and relevant findings will
be taken along with us to the after-life(the soul,
essential knowledge, etc).
