they would most likely pack their bags and hop on their shuttle and fly back to space once they see the conditions down on earth.
Sure, we have advanced technology and we're pretty intelligent species, but when men kill one another in hopes of showing their superiority--how intelligent do we really show ourselves do be? When there are people starving in africa and all we care is about wasting millions to get oil--what kind of message does that show? and those aliens probably dont suffer from all that carbon emission and global warming crap....but at least them aliens would see that we are starting to understand that we need to improve our lil earth; by doing things such as Live Earth and live 8 and raising awareness about things affecting our society such as gun laws and the increase in murder rates, i'm sure the aliens would conclude that humans are starting to realize how doomed future generations will be if nothing is done presently.
cheers m8

Alien 2= Tell me about it. Their planet is withering away beneath their feet.
Alien 1= So... You wanna grab a Mcdonalds to take back to our planet or do you just wanna clone the Subject Bush and abduct the real one.
Alien 2= whose Subject Bush?
Alien 1= The leader of the country they call America.
Alien 2= Hmmmm... Let's do both.
Alien 3= We can't abduct that guy, we did that 9 light-years ago.
Alien 1= Oh... That explains it.
Alien 2= What?
Alien 1= Everything.

They would probably conclude this section of the galaxy was a perfect place for a galactic bypass and send the Vogons to start the process.

depends where. only in one area, or the entire earth? if the entire earth, they would probably think that we in the west are very selfish, since people in Africa and other places are in such dire situations and we don't do enough to help them, IMO.

They would say, "these humans are more messed up than our spaceship engine. Let's fix the engine quick so that we could get out of here as soon as possible..."
