I'm just wondering if I'm the only one feeling so powerless when it comes to life and the things happeing around in the world. Sometimes I feel like I can't do anything to change things. How do you feel?

I feel powerless in the short term, I do feel like politicians are a bunch of power hungry narcissists.
Long term when I look into my kids faces I feel a tremendous amount of hope, as though by staying home with my kids I am putting something really worthwhile into the world.
Look around your community, you may not be able to stop the war in Iraq, but I am sure that there are opportunities all around you to put something positive into the world that is if you really do care.

I feel the same way you do. I wish you much happiness in life, and that you find purpose that everyone have in them. I wish there was something I can do to find happiness and contemptness but life is centered around medical studies, work, tending to a sickly parent, and the like.

We are a big crowd of people on a big planet ruled by a small group of people who are our leaders.
We have to trust them, unfortunately even if we dont trust them to do right by us.
And anyhows most of the time change only happens when the majority not the minority vote for change.
