So it's coming to the time where an honorable name to the game in that of "Hammerin" Hank is going to be surpassed by Barry Bonds. Being that Mr. Hank Aaron started his career in my home town playing for the Eau Claire Bears in his early days I feel that this moment is very uneasing to me. Everyone knows he took steroids and it's evident from his interviews and public speaking breakdowns that he is lying.

I just feel that on the day of 756 that people should stand up and honor the great Hammerin Hank that was a slave to the game and overcame diversity as Jackie Robinson did in his years. This game is flooded with players not taking responsibility for their actions and cheating. It's a disgrace to the game.

Your Thoughts?????

Hank is one of the top 5 all time players, and still has several records. When I was about 10, he visited the one of the braves farm teams, and I got to meet him, it was like 11:00 pm, and the stadium was empty, but my cousin and I waited, he shuck our hands, ask us what position we played, and gave a little bit of time, and was really nice person.

Barry Bonds has none of that class.

I totally agree with you. Steroids are a disgrace to the game. Bonds is going to break the record, but I hope that Hank Aaron gets recognition on the day Barry breaks the record for the accomplishments that he has achieved without the use of steroids.

How do you know that Hank didn't partake in the juice too? Other players in that era have claimed that they were around at the time, so I will go to the grave with the idea that players from all eras have had they vices to cheat with, so what's the point of any of it? Baseball and sports are for our entertainment, so enjoy the skill and the thrill that these athletes give us and stop whining about it all!!!

It will be a sad day when Bonds reaches 756. I will consider Hank the home run champ until someone breaks his record legitimately.

look, if people are going to hate bonds because of roids, then they should hate half of the league. its pretty obvious that there are tons of mlbers taking steroids, not just bonds. besides bonds has never tested positive for roids. do i think he took roids? yes i do. but it is not fair that everyone zeros in on bonds when everyone else is doing it too. steroids were around during the time of aaron too. you wouldnt know if he did take roids or not.

Steroids are for cheating losers. Want big muscles? Lift a lot of weights and earn it.
