It ranges for different people. Some people are more mature then others when they are younger but some don't get mature till they are old. Just the way the act and carry themselves. There is a point of having fun but then there is a point where it gets aggravating.

Over time consider the kinds of decisions they make...does it take into consideration others? Are their decisions only self serving? Do they plan a little (I don't mean anal about the future), do they talk about things that take some intelligence to be able to discuss, are they impulsive with purchases and life in general or do they take some time to make decisions? When they have a mustache and smoke a pipe....no really - i believe when someone really listens to what you are saying, doesn't make judgements but will also give an honest opinion. Basically treating others as they would want to be treated.....make sense? So much more.....

When they actually think before they act. When they think about other peoples feelings before their own. When they don't act like they are a child. ex I want this, I want that, ALL the time. When they are wise. etc
