hello, i am 5 months pregnant and don't know what i'm having yet-- but i think its a girl. I was wondering if anyone liked the name averian (aye-vree-un). If so, how would you spell it? averyean, avrean... do you think it sounds more like a girl or boys' name? do you like the name korbin? or korbin monroe? do you think that is a girls' or boys' name? I have two other children-- a daughter, Kylie and a son, Daegan (day-gun) which is Irish... I don't need anyone to tell me that I need to stick w/ my own language and pick traditional names b/c that is not what a i want... so if you have any other original names, i would be glad to hear!

The easiest way to spell it would be Avrian.
I don't love it, but I do like it.
It sounds pretty gender-ambiguous.
If it's spelled Averian or Averyean, it looks like it should be pronounced a-ver-ee-an. If it's spelled Avrean, it looks like it should be pronounced Av-reen. All of these spellings look feminine.
I'd definitely stick with Avrian, which is close enough to Adrian that the pronunciation won't confuse people.

I don't like the name Korbin, and Korbin Monroe definitely sounds masculine. Korbin does go with Kylie and Daegan, but there are nicer Irish names out there.

If you go with Averian you might consider spelling it: Avrianne. I think it looks more feminine spelled that way. Its a nice name that I think could go with either a girl or boy. Other names that are similar that you might like: Adrianne, Arianna, Aurianna.
These names are kind of unique too, so you might like them: Tarianna, Bevyn (Bevan)-Its Irish like your son's name, Daylin, Aiyana.
Korbin, is an awesome name. I really like it and it goes well with Monroe.
Good luck and you've got the right attitude, Don't let what other people think change your mind about naming your kid what you think is best.

I think it kind of sounds like Ovarian. I understand how you feel about having an original name though. I want to name my baby Shayniece if it is a girl, but no one seems like it much. Good lunch with your name search!!

I prefer the name Avery. I think that Daegan is a gorgeous, unique name. And I think that you should pick a name regardless of what other people think of the name's origin.

The way you have it spelled, reminds me of ovarian. I would not do that to my child. I can just hear the teacher pronouncing it that way. I strongly suggest you change the spelling. If you are truly happy with the name
