The same people who support Bush now.
BTW, Clinton was impeached by the House, but not by the Senate, so it ended there.

When surveyed, most questions asked should Bill Clinton be impeached and removed from office. The answer to this question was 25-30 %. An additional 40-45% were for reprimand and/or censure. This makes 65-75% who were for some strong action against Bill Clinton. If the question were only Should Bill Clinton be impeached it would have been somewhere inbetween.

In 1998 the population of the U.S was less than it is now. So you would have to find out what the population was in 1998 then find some unbiased polls taken then on impeaching Clinton.
Start researching !

Pointing out Clinton's actions while he was in office is usually done to highlight the hypocrisy which the left is so famous for. You give Clinton a free pass.. but attack Bush relentlessly for the same thing.
And yes, the whole impeachment and blowj0b "trial" bit was idiotic; it did not serve the best interest of the country... It was pointless political ********.

I really don't attach much importance to surveys - you can basically make a poll end up supporting whatever idea you want it to. And popular "wisdom" is seldom wise or factual.
Basically, who gives a rat's tail about whatever survey you cite? There is only one poll that matters, and it occurs on the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in November. All the rest is hubris.

I'm curious what the number is. I don't remember the public at large really caring - just the politically posturing blow-hards.
And of course the rest of the world laughed at our insecurity over trying to hide a sexual indiscretion.

Most likely about the same amount or slightly more. After all Clinton was guilty, the only thing Bush is guilty of is doing his best to defend the Country. Of course to a liberal that constitutes a crime.

As soon as someone can explain to me how 495 people is 45% of 300,000,000+...I'll support impeaching Bush.

who cares? It's not going to happen because there is no evidence of a "high crime or misdemeanor." He didn't do anything not authorized to be done by the Presidents unlike Clinton who lied to the nation openly.
