I think GW is a sincere man who means well. He just lacks the foresight to avoid all the unintended consequences of his actions. He also has learned the businessman's technique of persuading his subordinates to follow his lead by telling half-truths. It is a time-worn tactic in the corporate world, and a very easy habit to fall into when trying to convince departments to co-operate with each other for the good of the company. Unfortunately, when you apply the technique to international policy, there is much more at stake than a bit more or less profit for the company.
He hasn't gotten that yet, and I fear he's made our international position much worse than it has ever been in the history of our country. The end result of his behavior is that we are less safe from terrorists than ever, because it's easier to convince more people in more countries that we are a nation of corrupt aggressors who are trying to gain power over them.
I believe he is also sincere in his Christian beliefs, but like many people who call themselves Christians, is confused about what that means, and as a result, is not honoring his promise to defend the constitution.

Well for me All I can say is what the Bible say. No one has been put in office that God has has not put there so regardless of how i feel as a Christian I am called to Pray for and support the Men in office and know that God has a divine and perfect plan even if I don't see it or understand it

I think he's been a strong ,honest man who has led this country with honor and loyalty and has kept the office in the respect it deserves. The media on the other hand has spun his Presidency until the weak has blamed him for everything!

In 7 years Bush has...DESTROYED our beautiful, respected country.... and made it the most hated, feared, country..... anyone who does not think that.... go around the world and just see what other countries think about us.... made our country more christian even though this country is supposed to be accepting of all religions.... cut funding for government programs, polluted our earth, sent jobs overseas, destroyed the school system, taken away rights, made gays feel like second class citizens, not done anything to fund scientific research including stemcell research to cure fatal diseases, threatened to take control over women's bodies by forcing them to have babies, pressed WAY too much religion on the country, oh and not to mention THE WAR IN IRAQ

I'll make it short: Hes a terrible president
I'll extend my answer for the dumbass above me (who actually supported me on my question when I said we need to send illegal immigrants back to mexico which is something Bush isn't for) But who can blame him? He was probably one of the victims of the no child left behind act.
I'll extend my answer for the dumbass below me: Have you realized that gas prices are at an all time high which has caused prices of anything that's shipped by a motor to go up as well. And since I'm not in the oil stocks (which Bush is) my yearly salary hasn't gotten any higher.

Mixed bag. Foreign policy was a bold idea, but wasn't followed thru correctly. Never saw a spending bill he didn't like. On immigration he came out as a liberal. Economy is good. Like I said, mixed bag.
For those who are trying to blame the guy for everything wrong, you forgot global warming. I hear that it was Rove's idea, but Bush okayed it. Cheney was involved too. Pass it on.

It's clear that he has done a good job considering all of the circumstances. Liberals cry and act like the sky is falling but the economy and everything else is saying something else. People don't like that we are in Iraq but we also haven't had any attacks like England either.

he is a crook whose job was bought for him by oil co.s defense contractors and saudis. he took saddam out for them before he could start pumping cheap oil onto the market and cutting into opec and exxon profits. He's kept the oil off the market while oil co. profits have hit records. haliburton and other pres cronies have made wild profits with their do nothing no bid contracts. possibly the greatest thief of all time. it only resulted in the murders of a few 100,000 lives.
