because it goes against God.
Cursing is wrong because the person that is offended is God Himself. Why? Because you are asking God to condemn someone or something that He lovingly created. That’s what a curse is. If it’s said without meaning, then what’s the point of saying them? And curse words do not change with every generation, slang changes. And slang words do not apply to what we are talking about here. A curse is specific. It is meant to bring God’s wrath and anger down and not just to be said because someone doesn’t know what else to say.

most parents object to anything profane, anything possibly off color, or anything suggestive to their children under age 18 (or even their children being in the company of married people) because children pick up things and learn quickly and that language is lowlife. Good etiquette demands that certain words, even though in the English language or in the dictionary, not be used in public, on the job, or in certain settings. What is allowed in your home may not be allowed or accepted or acceptable in other peoples homes. Act accordingly.

F.U.C.K. not a bad word in my opinion actually an acronym meaning fornication under consent of the King. A good thing for all of you religious people right? its like a marriage license meaning sex after marriage. I agree that it and most other cuss words are taken out of context but its kind of a sign of ignorance to take offense to a word.

I have no problem with these words, and I believe that people's opinions of them avoid them from really using them. They add a huge emphasis on any sentence and draw in attention.
However, using them too often just leads to people assuming you have a limited vocabulary. This happens with any other words, i.e. girls who say "like" every other word.

learned peoples from all nations respect speech. to fill it with profanity serves no purpose. It shows a lack of vocabulary, cursing to get a point across it just....wronge,and unacceptable. I am thankful most of the people I associate with abstain from it!

For most people, "cuss" words are a sign of disrespect. Using them shows a lack of respect for the person you are speaking to and for others around you who may hear the conversation. Not using that type of language shows more consideration for the feelings of others.

It sounds to me that you have a "charming" family and equally "charming" friends.
Using these words displays to the world that you have a limited vocabulary. Therefore, you are unable to express yourself using the proper descriptive language necessary.

i agree with you on people chose what words.........they just all of a sudden picked a word and said "lets make that word bad" and to all you people who say God doesn't it like it when you curse, then tell me why he created people that curse.

Its rude... thats why. We live in a world where manners are important, we evolved to humans not to be grotesque and cruel, we should be more mannered and self-controlled.
