Wow! 20-14 game 1, 12-0 game 2. Batting practice at U.S. Cellular. 32 runs in a double header. Any records broke here, or tied? I'm sure that we will find out tomorrow when the newspapers come out, but in the mean time, anyone remember or know of such a high scoring, lopsided double header?

The first game kind of sucked. The Twins should not have given up 14 runs. If you want to humiliate someone by scoring 20 on them, you don't let them score 14. The second game was much better. Garza and the bullpen pitched well in the second game.

No, I believe the announcers mentioned something of being shy of MLB record. I don't recall what it was, but I know they said it early in the second game.

Even for a struggling team to score 14 runs is impressive. Zero runs is not. I was expecting a game as half as good as the first.
