I usually start on the outer corner of my upper eyelid and go to about the middle of my eye, thick at the outer edge and them thin it out towards the middle. Then use a q-tip to blend it in and put a light coat of a neutral eye shadow all over the lid to finish.

Use a liquid eyeliner (Maybelline makes a good one). Put very little on the brush and place it right over your eyelashes being careful not to get it on your eyes. It takes practice. You don't need much. You don't want to look like a raccoon. Just glide it above your lashes and stop at the end of your top eyelid. Good luck!

apply as absolutely close to the lash line as possible (i use liquid liner) you dont want any space in between the lash line and the eye liner. start thing by the corner of your eye while gradually making the line thicker as you get to the outer corner of your eye.
