I think the same reason men like to watch them....for the adrenaline rush and the scare they get.
I love them....especially the really cheesy B-grade movies. Those are the best....like the "Army of Darkness" kind of cheesy ones. Even those have a certain thrill to them as we laugh at them.

They either like to get the intrests in guys so that guys would like to tlk to them. Or they could feel fear and cuddle wit a guy.

its my favorite type of movie to watch most of the time, and i'm a woman, it has nothing to do with what sex we are, last time i heard women dont like to be scared off.
