I can SOOO relate. I just went through some major renovations in my house and a friend came to help me sort through my 'junk' collection. They said I can't collect any more 'treasures.' *smiles sheepishly* I think your socks have made their way over to the abandoned sock pile of half pairs I had. Those went out with the trash on Tuesday, sorry.
I called it 'organized chaos' I DID know where everything WAS, but now I have to hunt through their system of organization. What's more is they EVEN re-organized my dang silverware drawer and put the spoons where I had the forks. When they left I changed THAT in a hurry, let me tell you.

No, I am the messy kind that lets it go for like a month and then in one bombshell of a day tears everything apart, moves furniture, cleans my butt off and has the place looking immaculate...until next week. Then I wait another month or so and do it all over again.

No, I can't help you find your socks...where do you remember seeing them last? (My mother always asked me that...I found it annoying at the time, but I really did find quite a few things that way.)

No, I'm messy, never know where anything is, nobody would ever come to clean for me and everything is perpetually lost and I have to buy new ones anyway....

BTW, I so despise the expression "probably the last place you look" that I continue looking for a while after I find things now just to disprove that damn cliche' !!!

Ha! Totally. Especially my room. especially especially under my bed and in my closet. I keep EVERYTHING under my bed. And no one else can find it. But I can, and that's what matters ;O)
I don't have a problem with other people cleaning up for me though, thank goodness, or I would never know where anything is .....
btw, there is a strange pair of socks in my closet. are they yours? ;op

I'm creative and I create clutter in the process. Thank goodness my husband understands. I like neat and tidy, but when I'm painting or something the house looks like a hurricane blew through. BUT I can lay my hands on whatever I need anytime.

Yeah I can be messy, especially when it comes to my paperwork. Sometimes I've put my paperwork in a certain spot and my husband has come and moved it thinking he is cleaning and then when I go to find it, it's not there!!

No, I am the opposite. I have to be neat or I felt I have lost something and I feel disorganized.

Yes I am that kind of person.

I had a teacher in high school who had a markee on his desk that read, "A messy desk is a sign of genius."

I used to think, "Yeah, yeah, sure, sure..."

But now, I'm thinking he was right.
